Our Clinic

So what is a Mobile Clinic?

A mobile clinic? Of course! Our goal is to provide superior healthcare services with the utmost convenience to you and your pet. Our clinic is designed with the same facilities you'd find at any veterinary clinic - available to you without the hassle of leaving home.

The mobile unit is our clinic. Our clinic also provides expanded services by working with other hospitals in the metro area. As the cases dictate, we can arrange radiographs, ultrasound, MRI and consultation with specialists. Our staff may perform more extensive surgical procedures at one of our contract hospitals if we feel it is best for your pet.

It all starts with a phone call...

So how does it work? It starts with a phone call to the clinic to set up an appointment.

After you make an appointment, Dr. Dugger will come to a location of your choice.  Dr. Dugger is always happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about the service, or just help with questions you may have about your pets.

Remember, help is always just a phone call away.

When the mobile clinic arrives, you and your pet will be made comfortable and the examination will start.  Your pet won't be left in a crowded waiting room with other animals that can make them nervous and upset.

A thorough examination is conducted including checking the your pet's general health to make sure that there are no problems.

This is what we do...

On board, we have a small lab to review your pet's blood, urine or fecal samples.  We can check for infections and a variety of other problems that can lead to serious illness.  If necessary, we can also send specialized tests to high quality, local labs assuring you the most accurate results.

After we make sure your pet is healthy, we can perform elective or necessary surgeries such as dental cleanings, spay, neuters - procedures you'd have performed at any clinic.   For the safest possible results, we use Isoflurane gas as our primary anesthesia.

Once the surgery is complete, your pet will remain stabilized in a quiet, comfortable environment - monitored by the doctor to make sure that no complications arise.  And, when your pet wakes up, they are ready to make the short trip to your home without facing a long, uncomfortable car trip.  Our on board pharmacy can provide you with most medications required to prevent pain or discomfort after surgery.
