Services

| |
Our
clinic offers the same services you will find at most any
veterinary clinic...
Yearly
exams our your pets most important preventive medicine.
During a yearly exam, we check the pet's heart, ears, eyes,
teeth, skin, nutrition, muscles and joints, and talk about
behavior problems. This can help us catch diseases
early, or prevent future diseases.

We can
then recommend needed vaccinations to keep your family member
healthy including Bordetella, Rabies, DHPPC (canine distemper/parvo
combination) for dogs/puppies, FVRCP (feline/distemper
combination), Giardia (for dogs) and FeLV (feline leukemia)
for cats/kittens. |

Dental
Care |
Dental Care is an important
part of your pet's health. Diseased gums can lead to
serious medical issues such as endocarditis
(heart-valve infections), or problems with the kidneys.
We offer routine dental cleanings including polishing and
scaling, and can remove teeth when required.

Microchip
Placement

Microchip
placement is the newest form of pet identification that we can
offer to our clients to ensure the safe return of a lost pet. |
The microchip is a small computer chip
that is inserted under the skin using a needle. When
scanned, a number is brought up that is then traced to a
national hot line. The
police, humane society, local authorities and vets can scan
the chip. The database, which operates 24 hours per day, will
be contacted and the ID number will confirm your address and
then you and your pet will be reunited. |
Surgery
We can perform most minor surgeries
including tumor removals, laceration/wound repair, abscess
repair, and spay/neuter for pets over 4 months old. |
We
highly recommend spaying or neutering your pet to not only
control the pet population, but to prevent health problems
such as reproductive system cancer, uterine infections (pyometra),
prostate disease and behavioral problems such as spraying or
aggression.
